There was a lot of emotion and frustration in the comments made here. I think that though the numbers look more encouraging, they are not in synch with the feelings of many workers. Another observation: I had at least 1/2 the seminar participants in my recent class express a similar theme to what is written in this 8/31 USA Today piece about employees. They told me that they are riding things out and then plan on jumping ship when job opportunities loosen up.
